Volunteer to Learn Program
Families that are low-income or currently experiencing an unexpected financial hardship may apply to participate in our "Volunteer to learn Program". This program allows parents to volunteer their time or services at/ for Care For Kids, Inc. to earn their child's registration fees and tuition. Volunteers must complete all Oregon State Criminal Background Checks and F.B.I. fingerprinting Requirements at their own cost before being accepted to the program. All volunteers are interviewed and chosen by the Executive Director. Volunteers must complete an orientation if accepted to the program regardless of whether or not the volunteering will be done on-site, during business hours or when closed. The Volunteer to Learn Program allows children to attend our instructional Pre-school Programs in three hour blocks from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m., on days that the program is scheduled for that child's age group. Space is given on first-come, first-serve basis, subject to current space availability, staff to child ratios and Oregon state requirements. See application for complete program rules. Applications can be obtained from the Executive Director.
